Golden afternoon: 12th April. School opens after Easter holiday on TUESDAY 30th April (School CLOSED for INSET 29th April and Polling Day 2nd May)

Why Use Our Club

We employ 4 members of staff who have a wealth of experience and qualifications. We can have 16 children to two members of staff in each session providing a ratio of one adult to eight children. We offer you a professional, confidential and safe care club for your children. All our staff are CRB checked and already have positions within our school. They are friendly and available to answer any queries or concerns you may have.

If your child attends morning club, they will enter via the school’s main reception and remain in the KS1 hall until they are escorted to their classes at 8:50am. A bell in the foyer alerts staff to anyone waiting to enter. There is NO unauthorised access to the club. This ensures children are unable to roam the building or grounds unaccompanied. At the end of the school day, KS1 children will be collected by a member of staff and taken to school’s Nursery area. KS2 children will assemble together in KS2 hall and then walk across the playground and into the Nursery.

All children will be offered afternoon snacks and drinks. There will be various activities for children to take part in. We plan our sessions with child interests in mind and aim to keep the children engaged and occupied whilst allowing them time to relax at the end of a busy school day.

Activities we offer include Indoor Crafts/junk modelling, Board games/toys (dolls, cars etc.), Themed weeks, Construction, Computers, Gardening, Reading, Homework area, Movie night sessions, Paper crafts, Colouring/drawing, Parties and seasonal celebrations We also offer periodically, a cookery club. The activities above are timetabled to occupy the children making their time with us enjoyable and productive. Outdoor, (weather permitting) we provide the opportunity to use the school field and playground for a range of sports games that will be fully supervised.
